Congratulations to Dr. Loes van Bokhoven of the Caphri Institute. She has won the CaRe Dissertation Award 2008.
Her thesis on "Blood test ordering for unexplained complaints in general practice. The feasibility of a watchful waiting approach" was acknowledged by the Jury as the best CaRe thesis in 2008.
The Award was handed to her by a member of the CaRe Board during the B03 Annual CaRe Meeting in Maastricht on 5 June 2009. The award goes with a prize money of € 1150,=.

The numbers 2 and 3 finished ex aequo.
