More physical activity in the workplace not only prevents physical problems, it has also positive effects on the productivity and general well-being of employees.

Dutch businesses lose billions each year because of injuries and diseases that could have been prevented if workers would be more physically active in their workplace, says Prof. Willem van Mechelen (EMGO+) in De Volkskrant. The most effective strategy is to walk or exercise 5 minutes every hour.
